Hello
I am a Manchester-based musician and Composition graduate of The Royal Northern College of Music. I have 10+ years experience in the creative industry composing, producing, and educating. My music has been performed internationally by The Apex Singers, BBC Singers, Canterbury Cathedral Choir, The Hallé Corporate & Youth Choirs, Ardú, Vancouver Youth Choir and Exaudi Youth Choir amongst others.
Whilst we all share a love for our particular instrument(s), a crucial part of being a well-rounded musician is to develop knowledge and skills in different areas of musicianship. In addition to piano and singing, I also offer lessons in music theory, aural training, composition and arranging, general musicianship and music technology/production.

Music Lessons
Music Theory
Learn to understand and communicate the language of music. Learn to define the elements that form harmony, melody and rhythm. Identify compositional elements such as song form, tempo, notes, chords, key signatures, intervals, scales, and more. If you’re interested in studying for a Music Theory qualification, ABRSM & Trinity syllabus' are available.

Aural & Musicianship
Train your ear to identify pitches, intervals, melody, chords, rhythms, and other basic elements of music, solely by listening. If you take a grade exam in an instrument your aural skills will also be tested.

Composition & Arranging
Study the methods and concepts composers and improvisers use in creating music. Experiment with new ideas and develop your own style and sound while mastering compositional techniques.

Music Technology & Production
Learn how to use technology to create music. Learn how to track, mix and master audio, and develop software skills including Logic Pro X and Sibelius.
